Top 4 Herbs and 2 Mushrooms for Enhancing Women's Energy, Hormones, Focus, and More

We started this company because of my own journey discovering the incredible healing properties of mushrooms during peri menopause. After taking a potent Lion’s Mane extract for one full week, my hot flashes that felt like my organs were incinerating and the brain fog that had me panicking that I was in the early stages of dementia were gone. We knew this information would help so many people that were feeling their only options were a prescription from a pharmacy or hormone replacement therapy. While formulating our blends, we chose complimentary herbs that supported what the mushrooms were doing and increased the healing effects on the body. Here’s a list we put together for you to discover how these powerful herbs and mushrooms can support women to age healthy by boosting energy, balancing hormones, enhancing focus, and more. And by the way, they do not know gender— so they benefit men too!.
  1. Ashwagandha: Stress, Sleep, Thyroid, and Perimenopause Support
Ashwagandha, also known as Withania somnifera, Indian Ginseng, or Winter Cherry, is a revered Ayurvedic herb classified as an adaptogen. Adaptogens help the body manage stress by positively influencing the Hypothalamic Pituitary Adrenal (HPA) axis, which regulates stress, sleep, thyroid function, and reproductive hormones.   Ashwagandha is noted for its potential benefits in: - Promoting a healthy stress response and a calm state of mind - Supporting normal adrenal function and cortisol levels (the body’s main stress hormone) - Enhancing various aspects of sleep, including duration, quality, efficiency, and mental alertness upon waking - Maintaining normal thyroid function - Relieving mild to moderate perimenopausal symptoms Generally safe for most people, Ashwagandha should be avoided if you have an allergy to nightshades.
  1. Maca: Energy, Stamina, and Hormonal Balance
Maca, or Peruvian Ginseng, is an ancient Incan root vegetable that’s gained recognition for its energy-boosting and hormonal benefits. As an adaptogen, it thrives in high-altitude environments and provides numerous benefits, including: - Supporting normal reproductive and hormonal function across different life stages - Enhancing energy, stamina, and stress response - Assisting with menstrual support and sexual function Maca’s pleasant flavor makes it a great addition to smoothies, baked goods, and hot or cold beverages. It’s typically available as a powder, capsule, or tincture.
  1. Nettles: Nutritive Tonic for Energy and Vitality
Nettles have long been valued as a nutritious tonic for supporting women’s health, energy, and vitality. Rich in essential nutrients like vitamins, minerals, protein, and fiber, nettles are packed with benefits.   Research suggests that nettles may also aid in: - Supporting a normal histamine response - Enhancing joint comfort - Promoting heart health - Strengthening hair growth Typically consumed as tea, tincture, or supplement, nettles can also be prepared like spinach or other leafy greens when foraged or sourced carefully.
